I Understand Your Journey, Professionally and Personally

I’m a licensed therapist with advanced training in perinatal mental health and compassion fatigue. But more than that, I’ve lived through the kind of pain and questions you might be sitting with right now.

I was diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Insufficiency at 30. I became a mother through IVF. And along the way, I learned how important it is to be seen, not just by someone who knows the textbooks, but by someone who truly gets it.

My own path shaped how I show up as a therapist: with empathy, gentleness, and zero judgment. Empathy and relationships are at the heart of my work with my clients.

What “Empress Counseling” Really Means

The name of my practice comes from the Empress card in the Tarot — a symbol of nurturing, creativity, and deep feminine wisdom.

There was a point when I had to accept that motherhood might not look the way I imagined. The Empress helped me see that being a mother isn’t just about biology. It’s about how we show up, how we care, and how we love through it all.

That’s the energy I bring into every session — whether you’re grieving, hoping, healing, or just trying to hold it together.

Therapeutic Approaches

I draw on various therapeutic methods to create a space where you feel heard, seen, and supported.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications for Perinatal and Infertility Support Specialists

You deserve a therapist who’s not only trained in this work but truly understands the depth of what you’re going through.

Here’s what I bring to our work together:

  • Independently licensed psychotherapist in Massachusetts, Washington, Rhode Island, and Arizona

  • Certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) and a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP)

  • Specialized training through the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and Postpartum Support International

  • Years of clinical work and program management working with survivors of trauma

  • Extensive experience working with individuals and couples navigating infertility, pregnancy, and postpartum transitions

Over the years, I’ve helped more than 100 women and supported dozens of families — not only through the emotional ups and downs of infertility and perinatal care, but also through the complex life stressors that affect mental and physical wellness.

I bring deep knowledge, lived experience, and genuine compassion to every session. You’ll be met with care, not judgment, and support that’s grounded in expertise, authenticity, and a healthy dose of humor.

Heal with care and collaboration at a pace that feels right for you.

A Therapy Space That’s Warm, Affirming, and Rooted in Respect

My approach is warm, grounded, and nonjudgmental. I’ll meet you where you are — and walk beside you, not ahead of you.

I practice through a feminist and inclusive lens, guided by the belief that every person deserves care that honors their identity, story, and lived experience.

I proudly affirm and support individuals and families in the LGBTQIA+ community, and I create space for those who’ve felt unseen or misunderstood in traditional systems of care.
