Infertility Group Therapy: An 8-Week Virtual Transformation

You’re Strong—But This Is Really Hard

When I was going through infertility myself, I wanted more than casual encouragement. I wanted a space where I didn’t need to explain why baby showers were painful, or why the monthly rollercoaster of hope and grief felt so exhausting.

This is the group I wish I had back then.

Our 8-week virtual infertility group therapy program is designed specifically for people experiencing what’s called primary infertility—which simply means you are trying to have your first child and don’t yet have children.

The next group begins October 2025. Spots are limited, and we still have openings. If this feels like what you’ve been looking for, please reach out soon.

Why Group Therapy for Infertility?

  • Connection with Peers: Meet others who truly understand what it’s like trying to conceive a child

  • Therapeutic Support: Facilitated by a licensed infertility counselor, this group blends empathy with evidence-based guidance.

  • Skill Building: Learn coping tools for anxiety, relationship strain, and navigating treatment decisions.

  • Shared Healing: There’s comfort in knowing you don’t have to carry this alone.

Support Group vs. Group Therapy: What’s the Difference?

While both offer community, they serve different purposes:

  • Support groups are often peer-led, focused on sharing experiences and mutual encouragement.

  • Group therapy is led by a licensed therapist, structured around therapeutic goals, and includes exercises to help you process emotions and build resilience.

Both can be meaningful, but group therapy offers a deeper, more guided healing process.

Is This Group Right for You?

This group may be a supportive fit if you:

  • Are experiencing primary infertility—trying to have your first child.

  • Feel isolated or misunderstood in your current support system.

  • Want both emotional connection and coping tools.

  • Are open to sharing (at your own pace) and listening to others.

You don’t need to be ready to say everything on day one. Just showing up is enough.

You don’t have to go through infertility alone. This group is here to hold space for you and help you move through this season with compassion, support, and hope.
